Attorney at law

Ms. Perez obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stanford University with minors in Psychology and Spanish.  She earned her Juris Doctor degree from DePaul College of Law in 2009.  At DePaul, she was the Vice President of the Family and Child Law Society, President of the Law Students for Reproductive Justice student group and received the Family Law Summer Service Award and Law Achievement scholarship.

Ms. Perez has experience in various aspects of family, and having advocated for children at the Public Guardian’s Domestic Relations office in Chicago, Illinois, where she practiced with a student’s license during law school.  Working at the Public Guardian’s office, Ms. Perez solidified her interest in family law through her experiences with families in difficult divorce or parentage situations.  She is licensed to practice in both California and Illinois.

Ms. Perez is a member of the San Mateo Bar Association, San Francisco Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers mentor group.  

 Ms. Perez is conversant in Spanish.
