Mr. Quintero received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969 from the  University of California, Berkeley.  He was awarded a Juris Doctor degree in 1972 from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.

In the 1970’s he became a junior partner in the prestigious firm of Berlin and Goodman.  There, he honed his skills as a trial lawyer, focused on civil and business litigation. 

In the 1980’s he co-founded the firm of Goodman Quintero Lubin and Frederick.  During this period, his practice was divided between Family Law, Real Estate Law and Civil Litigation.  Cases included wrongful death, psychiatric injuries, legal and medical malpractice, fraudulent real estate sales and misrepresentation, commercial litigation, breach of contract, construction defects, mechanics liens, land slides, boundary and co-ownership disputes, soil contamination and environmental law.  This depth of practice experience is important to family law as many of the more complex problems in divorce cases require an understanding of real estate and commercial law issues. 

In 1980, Mr. Quintero was among the first in the state to be certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Family Law.  In 1996 Mr. Quintero established his own firm devoted exclusively to Family Law. 

QUINTERO FAMILY LAW SERVICES represents clients throughout the entire Bay Area and takes pride in providing Family Law Services to all people who make up our diverse Bay Area community.  He is fluent in Spanish and each associate is fluent in their native language as well.  

Mr. Quintero has served as Judge Pro-Tem of the Superior Court in the Family Law program and serves as arbitrator in the judicial arbitration program and in attorney fee disputes.  He has lectured in both Consititutional Law and in Family Law, and has published articles on family law issues.
